Your role

At Ahead Health, we're building Europe’s leading preventative healthcare platform. Our mission is to bring the personalized, concierge healthcare of the top-0,1% to the rest of us. With AI, of course. As our Founding iOS App Developer, you’ll bring this to live with an experienced, technical, and mission-driven founding team out of Google, Oxford, Kaia Health, and more.

You’ll be instrumental in building a secure, scalable, and exciting product from (almost) the ground up. We’re looking for someone who loves building for impact, thrives in ambiguity, defaults to quick iterations, and cares about all the little big details that make a user experience remarkable.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continually improve delightful, intuitive, high-performing, and reliable iOS applications from the ground up, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

• Establish and ensure high standards for code quality and organization, rapid development iterations, and robust production operationalization. 

• Contribute to core architectural decisions and technology choices, helping shape the foundational technical stack for the entire company.

• Actively research, evaluate, and integrate cutting-edge mobile technologies and industry trends to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of shipped applications

• Expertise in Swift and working knowledge of Objective-C.

• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks and SDKs, in particular Apple HealthKit.

• Working experience with standards and best practices on mobile security for protecting sensitive health data.

• Experience with App Store and app lifecycle management.

• Deep understanding of CI/CD processes for mobile app development.

• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, design patterns, and best practices.

• Experience with API integration, backend services, and cloud platforms.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Preferred

• Experience with SwiftUI and Combine.

• Prior experience in a founding team or early-stage startup.
