We are Ahead Health
Healthcare is broken. It's reactive, fragmented, and increasingly expensive. While we have more health data than ever before, we're not using it effectively to prevent disease and optimize wellbeing.
That's why we started Ahead Health. We're building an AI-powered platform that transforms how people understand and manage their health, shifting from reactive treatment to proactive prevention. By combining cutting-edge technology with medical expertise, we help people take control of their health journey before problems arise.
The product vision: personal concierge medical care, for everyone. Three key components: (1) A data vault with the most up-to-date picture of your health, (2) a trusted single-point-of-care, and (3) the most extensive, helpful dashboard. More info in our pitch deck.
We're excited to build Europe's leading preventative health platform, starting in Switzerland.
We’re backed by founders and execs from Hugging Face, Cradle, Google, DeepMind, Oviva, Stanford Medicine, GE, Philips, and Coda.
YOUR ROLE
Build from the ground up
iOS health app
Help build our core health insights application
Look ahead
While building the MVP, keep an eye on what this needs to be at scale
Conversational, but medical-grade
Help build an experience that goes beyond the standard thin-layer wellness app. (We're not just a tech company, but a licensed medical practice.)
Security & compliance
Establish robust security practices and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations from day one
Drive repeat
Create experiences that help change health outcomes, and get users to come back.
Shaping the product
Work closely with our engineers, CPO, healthcare experts, and the rest of the team.
Your role
The wealthy have always enjoyed better, more personalized healthcare. AI allows us to bring this to the rest of us. We aim to be Europe’s leading prevention platform.
As our Founding Product Designer, you’ll shape the next phase of our core product, physician interface, brand, and even physical experience. Take our humble beginning - a beautiful report with clear action items - and grow it to the leading consumer health app that people will love to log into. Not alone, of course. You’ll work closely with our users, CEO, CPO, CTO, engineers, and medical advisors.
If this is a mission that feels comfortably uncomfortable, we’d love to chat.
Responsibilities
Lead design. You make sure everything a customer touches feels amazing.
Co-shape product. We have traction, but most of the hairy problems are still in front of us.
Build systems. You make things consistent at scale.
Evolve our brand. No blandness; let’s create something people will talk about.
Own the full journey. It’s not just a great mobile app.
Need to have
6+ years of experience in designing things users love
Proof points of iterating on complex, data-heavy products with a significant user base
Highly structured approach; from vague idea to hallway usability test to pixel-perfect Figma
Independently driven, while being a great collaborator
Slightly obsessive personality with a high tolerance for ambiguity
Nice to have
Experience in a fast-paced tech start-up
Key driver in something that scaled to 200K users
Great eye for copy & UX writing (the non-AI-slop kind)
What we offer
EUR 80-125K + significant equity
Meaningful and impactful work: shape the future of preventative healthcare in Europe.
Small, experienced, technical, and mission-led team
Ownership, autonomy, and the chance to set a design foundation that matters
