Men's healthDetected by MRI
Testis and penis tumour (possibly malignant)
Malignant tumors of the testicle or penis, with testicular cancer most common in younger men. MRI characterizes a scrotal or penile mass when ultrasound findings are inconclusive. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
