Inflammation of the joints (osteoarthritis)

The most common joint disease, in which the protective joint cartilage wears down and thins, accompanied by pain, swelling and limited mobility. MRI can make cartilage loss and early bone changes visible, while a blood test serves mainly to rule out inflammatory joint conditions as a cause.
