What happens on the day of my appointment, and how long does it take?

You arrive fasting (8–12 hours, water only) for your appointment at the location of your choice. After a short check-in, a medical professional takes your blood. The blood draw itself takes only a few minutes.

In total, you should allow about 15 minutes.

Drink 2–3 glasses of water beforehand to stay well hydrated. You can eat and drink again straight after the blood draw.
