Ahead Health launches in Germany and the Netherlands, backed by $10 million funding led by 3VC and RTP Global

Ahead Health, the Zurich-based preventive healthcare company, is launching in Germany and the Netherlands, its first markets beyond Switzerland. From today, people in Munich can book a preventive check-up, and those in the Netherlands can join the waitlist ahead of the rollout this August. The expansion is backed by a $10 million investment led by venture capital firms 3VC and RTP Global. 

Ahead Health is a preventive health platform on a mission to make proactive, personalised healthcare available to everyone. It combines advanced blood panels, whole-body MRI, and an AI-powered platform through which each member can add medical history into a single, doctor-reviewed check-up. This brings several views of the body together for a more complete picture and more relevant, confident decisions. Built around repeat testing over time rather than one-off snapshots, the platform tracks each person's health against their own baseline and may catch meaningful change early. Headquartered in Switzerland, the company is building Europe's leading preventive health platform.

Since launching in Switzerland, the company has built a network of 20+ partner centers and a growing range of offerings that gives customers a continuous view of their health rather than a one-off check-up. The capital supports the expansion across Germany and the Netherlands. In both markets, Ahead Health is expanding hand-in-hand with the local medical community, partnering with established clinics, radiology centers, and doctors rather than building facilities from scratch. The model lets the company bring high-quality preventive care to new markets quickly while keeping it grounded in local clinical expertise.

Starting with blood

The rollout begins with a comprehensive blood test: accessible, safe and highly informative. The test maps early signals around metabolic health, inflammation markers, organ function and cardiovascular risk, among others. Every result is reviewed by a licensed doctor and translated into a personal action plan. Imaging such as MRI will soon become available to combine insights into a more comprehensive view. 

3VC invests in a small number of European technology companies each year, with a focus on the DACH region, making the cross-border expansion a natural fit for the firm's thesis.

Preventive check-ups are available to be booked now in Germany starting in Munich . In the Netherlands, people can join the waitlist , the full roll-out will follow in August.
