Advanced blood test · Female hormones & fertility
See what your hormones are actually doing
Irregular cycles, trouble conceiving, energy or mood that quietly shifted, while check-ups keep saying you are fine. When the cause is hormonal, it rarely shows from the outside. One blood draw reads your core hormone picture.
Sound familiar?
The signals that something hormonal is going on
Irregular cycles
Periods that arrive early, late, heavy, or skip months can point to an ovulation or thyroid problem.
Months of trying, no answer
If conceiving is taking longer than expected, your ovulation and hormone levels are a sensible place to start looking.
Skin and hair that changed
Adult acne, oilier skin, or new hair on the chin and jaw can signal raised androgens, part of the PMOS (formerly PCOS) picture.
Weight that won't respond
When weight holds on despite real effort, insulin and thyroid are often quietly involved.
Mood, sleep and energy off
Estrogen, progesterone, cortisol and thyroid shape how steady you feel day to day. Small shifts are felt before they are seen.
Low drive or libido
A dip in desire is rarely just stress. Testosterone, SHBG and estrogen all play a part.
When the signsadd up
None of these are emergencies. But together they often mean your hormones are worth a closer look, long before anything would show up on a routine test.

What your hormones can actually tell you
If your results came back normal but you don't feel normal, here's what a closer look can show.
What we measure
The markers behind your hormones
Eight hormone markers in the add-on, read alongside the thyroid and metabolic markers already in your Advanced Blood Test.

Pituitary signals
The signals from your brain. Luteinising and follicle-stimulating hormone are the pituitary hormones that tell your ovaries what to do. Read together, they help explain irregular or absent ovulation.
3 markers

Estrogen & progesterone
Your ovaries' response to those signals. Estradiol is your main estrogen; too much or too little affects your cycle, mood, skin and bones. Progesterone, in the second half of your cycle, shows whether you ovulated.
2 markers

Androgens
Testosterone and DHEA-S are androgens; SHBG sets how much testosterone is active. Together they sit behind acne and unwanted hair, and they form part of a PMOS (formerly PCOS) work-up.
3 markers

Thyroid & metabolism
Already part of your 80-marker Advanced Blood Test, these move with your hormones and round out the picture.

Beyond your blood test
An MRI sees what your blood can't
Blood shows what your hormones are doing, but not the structures themselves. Fibroids, cysts and deep endometriosis can grow for years with no clear signal. A whole-body MRI with a dedicated pelvic sequence sees them, with no radiation.

Uterine fibroids
Uterine fibroids are benign muscle growths behind many heavy, painful periods. The scan shows their size and position.

Ovarian cysts
Ovarian cysts and the ovaries themselves are seen directly, so a finding is followed up on evidence, not guesswork.

Deep endometriosis
Deep endometriosis and adenomyosis show on a dedicated pelvic sequence, often after years of unexplained pain.
How it works
From booking to answers in a week
No referral, no waiting room. A quick draw, then a report that explains itself.

Book in 2 minutes
Pick a time at one of our 11 ISO-certified partner labs across Switzerland. Add the Hormones (women) panel at checkout for the full hormone picture.

A 15-minute blood draw
One small sample covers all 80 markers. We tell you the best day in your cycle to come in for the hormones that move week to week.

Add a scan for the full picture
If you want to see what blood cannot show, add a contrast-free pelvic MRI. It picks up fibroids, ovarian cysts and deep endometriosis, and you can book it with your bloods or come back for it later.

Doctor-reviewed results and a plan
Within 5 days a licensed doctor reviews every marker and turns it into clear, personalised next steps, not a spreadsheet of numbers.
Your report
Not a spreadsheet. A plan you can act on.
A licensed physician reviews every marker. You get a clear read on how your eight hormone markers sit alongside your whole-body picture, and the steps to take next.

Your recent health check-up provides a detailed overview of your health, showing some very positive developments alongside a few areas that warrant attention. The most notable findings are related to age-appropriate wear-and-tear in your spine.
