Which biomarkers are included in the Prevention Starter blood test?
The Prevention Starter blood test is a blood test with 67 biomarkers. It covers cardiovascular risk, metabolic health with an assessment of blood glucose levels (HbA1c, fasting blood glucose, TyG index), liver and kidney function, the thyroid (TSH), immune function, iron status and inflammation markers, a full blood count, vitamin D, minerals and electrolytes.
If a value is abnormal, we automatically run further markers on the same blood sample, without a further blood draw:
- free T4 and free T3 (fT4, fT3) if your TSH is below the reference range
- direct and indirect bilirubin if your total bilirubin is raised
You can extend the panel with add-on tests:
- Essential B vitamins (vitamin B12 and folate)
- Omega-3 & 6 fatty acids
- Hormone panel for women or men
- Single markers: cortisol, PSA (men) and lipoprotein(a) / Lp(a)
Further biomarkers beyond the standard panel can be added on request. You can find the full, filterable list of all biomarkers by package in our biomarker overview.
