Does a full-body MRI check the prostate for cancer?
Not in detail. Your prostate shows up in the pelvic images of every full-body MRI, but those are made to survey your whole torso. The prostate MRI takes its own high-resolution T2 and diffusion images, with slices as thin as the international PI-RADS standard asks for.
It adds about 5 minutes in the scanner and uses no contrast agent. It's included in Advanced and Pro, and you can add it to Core when you book.
