Heart valve calcification (aortic valve)
Calcium deposits on the aortic valve, often age-related, that may indicate early heart valve disease; over time they can stiffen the valve and gradually narrow it. Low-dose CT detects this calcification as an incidental finding during coronary artery calcium scoring and may prompt further evaluation if needed.
