Brain aneurysm

A weak, bulging spot in a brain artery that can rupture and cause a life-threatening brain hemorrhage (a form of stroke); most remain unremarkable and never rupture. Using imaging of the arteries (TOF angiography), MRI can show even unruptured aneurysms, so that preventive treatment can be considered where the risk warrants it.
