Brain and nerve healthDetected by MRI
Brain mass
An abnormal growth within the brain that may be benign or malignant. MRI shows the size, location, and characteristics of the mass to guide diagnosis and treatment planning. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
