Stomach and gut healthDetected by MRI
Endocrine pancreatic tumor
A tumor arising from the hormone-producing cells of the pancreas. MRI detects these lesions early, allowing treatment before the tumor grows or spreads. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
