Endometrioma < 3 cm
A cyst on the ovary filled with old, thickened blood, called a chocolate cyst for its appearance, caused by endometriosis, in which tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus. The MRI shows the characteristic blood products and maps the extent of the changes in the ovary.
