Hernia of the small intestine (enterocele)
A hernia where part of the small intestine pushes into the space between the vagina and the rectum. A resting MRI can show the intestine and the surrounding pelvic anatomy, while assessing the extent of the prolapse usually relies on dynamic imaging during straining, which is not part of this exam.
