Lung and airwaysDetected by MRI
Solid mass in nasal pharynx
A solid tumor in the upper throat behind the nose. MRI shows its extent and relationship to surrounding structures, supporting treatment planning. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
