Lung and airwaysDetected by MRI
Lymphoma in the nasal pharynx
Lymphatic cancer arising in the nasopharynx, the upper throat behind the nose. MRI reveals the soft-tissue mass and any spread to nearby lymph nodes, guiding biopsy and staging. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
