Lung and airwaysDetected by MRI
Lymphoma of the sinuses
Lymphatic cancer arising in the paranasal sinus cavities. MRI reveals the soft-tissue mass and its extent, distinguishing it from inflammation and guiding biopsy for diagnosis. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
