Women's healthDetected by MRI
Ovarian tumor > 3 cm
A mass on or within the ovary that may be benign or malignant. MRI characterization helps determine the urgency and type of treatment needed. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
