Reactive or inflammatory lymph nodes of the neck

Lymph nodes that enlarge as the immune system responds to an infection or inflammation. A blood test can show signs of infection or inflammation, while MRI shows the size, shape, and borders of the nodes, helping separate benign reactive nodes from suspicious ones.
