Bone and muscle healthDetected by MRI
Tumor of the bony skeleton and/or soft tissue
A growth in bone or surrounding soft tissue that may be benign or malignant. Early MRI detection allows timely biopsy and treatment planning. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
