Bone and muscle healthDetected by MRI
Tumor of the knee
A mass in or around the knee joint that requires evaluation. MRI characterizes the tumor to guide biopsy decisions and treatment. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
