Bone and muscle healthDetected by MRI

Tumor of the pelvis and hips

A mass in the pelvic or hip region requiring evaluation. MRI characterizes the tumor and helps plan further investigation or treatment. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
