Bone and muscle healthDetected by MRI
Tumor of the shoulder
A mass in or around the shoulder joint. MRI helps determine the nature of the tumor and guides decisions about biopsy and treatment. MRI can raise suspicion of this finding, but a definitive diagnosis requires further specialist assessment — typically examining a tissue sample (taken by biopsy or during surgical removal), and sometimes additional imaging or blood tests.
