General terms and conditions
Effective date: 30 October 2026
Last update: 30 October 2026
1. Introduction and scope
1.1 Who we are
We are Ahead Health AG ("Ahead", "we", "us", "our"), Uraniastrasse 31, 8001 Zurich, Switzerland. You can reach us at get@aheadhealth.com.
1.2 Our Services
We provide a platform through our website (www.aheadhealth.com) and our Ahead App (“Systems”) through which you can access our services, such as the booking of check-ups, receiving check-up results, accessing health insights and your personalised lifestyle and health plan including your progress, accessing educational material, and connecting you to our medical partners (clinics, hospitals and test centres) and medical healthcare professionals, as amended at our discretion and described on our website (“Services”). Our medical partners are carefully selected to ensure they align with our values of customer-centricity and medical quality.
1.3 Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website, using our Services or creating an account, you agree to these General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”). If you do not agree with these GTC, please do not use our Services.
You acknowledge that these GTC constitute a valid and binding agreement electronically entered into, with the same force and effect as agreements physically signed by you.
2. Our role and relationship to you
For users in Switzerland: We act as an intermediary for physical tests (e.g., MRI, blood) conducted by third-party medical partners. However, for the medical evaluation of your reports and subsequent consultations, Ahead Health operates as a licensed outpatient medical institution, working with both employed and independently engaged medical healthcare professionals.
For users outside Switzerland: We act solely as an intermediary between you and our medical partners. The medical services are provided by independent third-party medical healthcare professionals, or by medical healthcare professionals employed by Ahead. When the medical evaluation of your reports and subsequent consultations are performed by third-party medical healthcare professionals, we are not responsible for the medical care you receive. The relationship between Ahead and these medical partners is strictly that of independent contractors. Nothing in these GTC creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship with them.
In all jurisdictions, we carefully select our partners to ensure they align with our values of customer-centricity and medical quality.
3. User eligibility and account
3.1 Age requirements
Our Services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.
3.2 Account creation
To use our Services, you will need to create an account in our Systems.
3.3 Accuracy of information
You confirm that you will provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account and booking services. You agree to update your information promptly if it changes.
3.4 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect misuse.
4. Booking Services and Ahead App
We facilitate the booking of check-ups with our medical partners. By confirming a booking, you authorize us to make arrangements on your behalf with the relevant medical partner.
Our Ahead App allows you to access our Services through the account you create in the same manner that you can access this information through our other Systems. The use of the Ahead App is subject to these GTC.
5. Appointments and cancellations
5.1 Booking confirmation
After booking an appointment or consultation with one of our medical healthcare professionals through our Systems, you will receive confirmation via email or through the Ahead App. The appointment is only confirmed after you receive this confirmation.
5.2 Cancellations and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled time by contacting us at get@aheadhealth.com. For cancellations less than 48 hours before your appointment, or if you fail to attend a confirmed appointment, your claim to the service booked for that appointment expires without any right to compensation or refund. A cancellation fee may be charged as specified as deposit during the booking process.
5.3 Medical partner cancellations
Our medical partners may need to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances such as emergencies. We will notify you promptly and help you reschedule your appointment. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude any and all liability for any inconvenience or costs resulting from such cancellations.
5.4 Late arrival
If you arrive late for an appointment, your entitlement to the Service booked generally exists only for the remaining scheduled time. If your late arrival makes the scheduled appointment no longer feasible, your claim to the service booked for that appointment expires without any right to compensation or refund.
6. Fees and payment
6.1 Service fees
The fees for our services are clearly displayed during the booking process. These may include booking fees, service fees, and the cost of the medical service itself. All prices include VAT, where applicable.
6.2 Payment terms
Unless otherwise specified, payment terms are as follows:
- A full payment is required at the time of booking, before the services have been rendered, unless specified otherwise.
- A deposit may be required at the time of booking of an MRI, before the services have been rendered.
- The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days after completion of treatment and receipt of invoice.
6.3 Payment options
We may offer installment payment options under certain conditions. For information about payment options, please contact us via email get@aheadhealth.com.
6.4 Non-payment
In case of complete or partial non-payment, we reserve the right not to provide and to suspend our Services (including to suspend or delete the account you created).
We reserve the right to transfer or assign the outstanding invoice amount (including default interest) to an external debt collection agency or similar institution for collection purposes.
In addition to settling the invoice amount, the customer is obliged to reimburse all costs incurred in connection with the delay in payment (in particular default interest, debt collection costs, and legal fees).
6.5 Transaction costs
You agree to fully bear any fees or other transaction costs that may be incurred during the transfer.
6.6 Currency
Payments must be made in Swiss Francs (CHF), unless we offer payment in another currency.
6.7 Price changes
We reserve the right to change our prices of our Services at any time, but changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed.
6.8 Refunds
Refund policies vary depending on the specific Service and cancellation circumstances. These will be communicated to you transparently during the booking process.

8. Service availability and maintenance
We strive to ensure that our Systems are available continuously and function correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
You therefore acknowledge and agree to the following:
- No guarantee of availability: Ahead does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Systems availability nor does Ahead guarantee the availability of the Systems in any specific country.
- Planned maintenance: Maintenance activities, including updates and upgrades, may be scheduled at Ahead’s discretion and may occur at any time. Where possible, such maintenance will be performed outside of standard Swiss business hours.
- No uptime SLA: No specific uptime guarantee applies to the availability of the Systems.

Furthermore, Ahead is not liable for the availability, functionality, or content of third-party websites, services, or integrations that are linked to or incorporated into the Systems.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the technical requirements needed to access the Systems, such as a functioning internet connection, compatible hardware and software, and adequate security measures, are met. Ahead does not assume any liability or provide any warranties regarding the availability or functionality of such technical requirements which are outside of Ahead’s control.
9. Intellectual property
9.1 Our intellectual property
Ahead Health retains all Intellectual Property Rights in and to the Systems and Underlying Systems as well as all content made available on or through the Systems, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, user interfaces, design, algorithms, AI models, AI agents, architecture, layouts, configurations, workflows, processes, functionalities, features (“Ahead Health IP”), which are and shall remain the exclusive property of Ahead Health AG or are licensed to Ahead Health AG.
9.2 Limited licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to access and use the Systems for the purpose of accessing and using the Services in accordance with these GTC.
Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these GTC, no other licences, rights, or interests, whether express or implied, shall be granted to you in or to the Ahead Health IP or any other Intellectual Property Rights owned or licensed by Ahead.
9.3 Restrictions
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, display, perform, or create derivative works from any Ahead Health IP without our prior written consent.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The information provided through our Services is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
The medical consultations, MRI scans, blood tests, and other preventive services made available through our Systems are performed or interpreted by qualified, licensed medical healthcare professionals (who, for users in Switzerland, may be employed by us or engaged independently, and for users outside Switzerland, are exclusively independent practitioners). Ahead does not disclaim the professional standards applicable to such medical healthcare professionals, and nothing in this Clause 10 affects the licensed medical healthcare professionals’ own responsibility for the medical services they render. However, Ahead itself does not perform such medical services and, accordingly, does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or outcome of any consultation, test, scan, or result, as these depend on the independent professional judgment of the treating medical healthcare professional and factors outside Ahead’s control.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting the above, Ahead expressly disclaims all warranties, conditions, and representations of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, regarding our Systems and Services and its non-medical components and functionalities, including but not limited to:
- warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
- any warranties implied by law or arising from custom, course of dealing, or usage of trade;
- warranties that the Systems are free of viruses, other malicious code, or any harmful components; and
- warranties regarding the availability, reliability, or timeliness of the Systems.
Where we make available information, articles, or content sourced from third parties (including third-party providers) or link to third-party websites, Ahead does not warrant or guarantee that such information is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Such information is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice; it is not a substitute for, and does not replace, a consultation with a qualified medical healthcare professional.
You acknowledge that our Systems may operate with the assistance of software and technical systems that, notwithstanding reasonable efforts by Ahead, cannot be guaranteed to be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times, and that Ahead does not warrant otherwise.
No oral or written statement made by Ahead, its employees, officers, representatives, or agents shall create any warranty, representation, or assurance not explicitly set out in these GTC.
Nothing in this Clause 10 excludes or limits any warranty, guarantee, or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law, including in respect of the medical services referred to.
11. Assumption of risk and liability
11.1 Assumption of risk
Any patient information provided to you by us or our medical partners gives a detailed overview of how the analyses and treatments are performed and what risks and side effects may occur. Such information also provides information about non-medical services. Please read the patient information provided to you carefully and ask us or our medical partners any questions you may have.
By accepting these GTC, you declare that you have read and fully understood the patient information provided to you during the booking process, confirm that you have familiarized yourself with the risks and side effects of the Services and that you are using the Services voluntarily, exclusively for your own healthcare and treatment and at your own risk.
11.2 Limitation of liability
11.2.1 Ahead’s liability for any damage, loss, or claim arising out of or in connection with the Systems, the Services, or the use thereof is limited to wilful intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit). Any further liability (including for slight negligence (leichte Fahrlässigkeit)) of Ahead for direct or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and loss of profit, revenue, data, or business opportunities is excluded to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.
11.2.2 The medical, preventive, and laboratory services offered through the Services (including MRI scans, blood tests, and related analyses) are provided by independent medical partners and by licensed medical healthcare professionals who may or may not be employed by Ahead. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ahead is not liable for any act, omission, misdiagnosis, side effects or negligence of such independent medical partners or medical healthcare professionals, whether or not they qualify as Ahead’s auxiliaries within the meaning of applicable law. Nothing in this Clause 11.2.2 limits any claim you may have directly against such independent medical partners or licensed medical healthcare professionals.
11.2.3 Ahead excludes all liability for any damages that result or occur due to your breach of these GTC or if you do not follow the instructions of the medical healthcare professionals and medical partners before, during or after an analysis, treatment, or activity.
12. Data protection
12.1 Data processing
In our Privacy Policy, we inform you how we process and protect your personal data (including your health data). Please read our Privacy Policy carefully and ask us any questions.
12.2 Data sharing with partners
If a service is provided by a service partner or other third parties, you agree that (a) Ahead may disclose your data collected in the context of providing the service to such service partners or other third parties if this is necessary for the provision of the service by them, and (b) such service partners or other third parties may disclose your data collected during their service provision to Ahead. For subsequent processing by Ahead, the Ahead Privacy Policy applies.
13. Modifications to GTC and Services
13.1 Changes to GTC
We may modify these GTC at any time at our sole discretion. We will notify you of material changes through our Systems or via email. Unless a different effective date is specified, amendments take effect thirty (30) days after publication (“Effective Date”). Continued use of our Services and Systems after the Effective Date constitutes acceptance of the amended GTC. The current valid version of these GTC is available on our website.
13.2 Service modification or discontinuation
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time, with or without notice.
14. Termination
14.1 Termination by you
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at get@aheadhealth.com.
14.2 Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to our Services at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these GTC.
14.3 Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. Any outstanding payments remain due. At your request, Ahead shall provide a copy of your personal data. Ahead reserves the right to keep your personal data in anonymized form for product development and training of artificial intelligence systems and/or models.
15. General provisions
15.1 Entire agreement
These GTC, together with any applicable supplementary or product-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ahead regarding your use of our Systems and Services.
Such terms apply in addition to these GTC. In case of conflict, the supplementary terms prevail over these GTC in respect of the service they govern, unless expressly stated otherwise in those terms.
Any deviating arrangements are only valid upon mutual written agreement. In that case, the terms mutually agreed in writing shall prevail over the provisions of these GTC in case of conflict, unless expressly stated otherwise in such agreement.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these GTC is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The parties shall replace the invalid or unenforceable provisions with provisions that are valid and enforceable and that best reflect the original intent of the parties and, if possible, lead to the same economic result.
15.3 Survival
Notwithstanding any termination or expiration of these GTC, the provisions outlined in Sections 10, 11 and 12, along with any other provisions that by their nature should survive, shall remain in full force and effect after termination or expiration. These provisions shall continue to bind the parties and ensure their respective obligations, rights, and remedies survive as applicable.
15.4 No waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these GTC will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
15.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer rights and obligations under these GTC without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these GTC without restriction.
15.6 Force majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure of or delay in performance of our obligations under these GTC to the extent such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, acts of government, flood, fire, earthquakes, civil unrest, acts of terror, strikes or other labor problems, or Internet service provider failures.
16. Dispute resolution, governing law and jurisdiction
16.1 Alternative dispute resolution
Prior to initiating court proceedings, the parties shall attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these GTC through good faith negotiations.
16.2 Governing law
These GTC are governed by Swiss law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions or international treaties that would lead to the application of other law.
16.3 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these GTC shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
