Interactive report

Find out whether gluten is behind your symptoms, before you change what you eat.

  • Get a first answer on coeliac disease, which many people have for years without knowing.

  • Look for a hidden cause of recurring iron deficiency, tiredness or bloating.

  • Keep eating gluten as usual until your blood draw. Cut it out already? Talk to us before booking.

  • A first step, not a diagnosis. A normal result makes coeliac disease unlikely but does not rule out sensitivity to gluten or wheat. A gastroenterologist confirms a raised result, usually with a biopsy.

Total IgA checks that your body makes enough IgA for the antibody result to be reliable.

Questions we could help with

Real questions from people like you, and how a coeliac blood test helps answer them.

Could gluten be behind my bloating?

The test looks for the antibody coeliac disease produces. Bloating has many causes; your doctor reads it with your symptoms.

Why does my iron keep running low?

Coeliac disease can stop the gut absorbing iron. The test checks whether it may be the reason.

Should I stop eating gluten before the test?

No. Without gluten the antibodies can fall, and the result may look normal when it isn't.

Coeliac disease runs in my family. Should I check?

Close relatives have a higher chance of having it. A raised result is confirmed by a gastroenterologist.
