CardiovascularDetected by MRI
Aortic aneurysm
A balloon-like widening of the wall of the aorta, the body's largest artery; if such a bulge tears, it can cause life-threatening internal bleeding. MRI measures its size and location, allowing the aneurysm to be monitored before it grows further.
