Men's healthDetected by MRI

Benign prostatic enlargement (prostatic hyperplasia)

A benign, non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland that becomes very common with age and can press on the urethra, leading to problems with urination. MRI assesses the size and structure of the prostate and can flag suspicious, possibly malignant areas that warrant further evaluation.
