When will I get my results?

Your results are typically available within 5–7 business days after your check-up. You will receive an email notification with a link and instructions to securely access your results in the web portal.

If you booked the Omega-3 & 6 add-on, the analysis may take a few days longer.

Once your report is ready, you can schedule a follow-up consultation with one of our physicians. See our sample report to get an idea of what to expect.

Question 2

How reliable are the results and what is the follow-up process?

Our health check-up results are based on established medical protocols, with professional and experienced MRI and laboratory partners, such as Hirslanden and Unilabs.

Medical experts carefully review all findings.

These check-ups serve as screening tools; if any concerns are identified, further follow-up may be necessary.

Our medical experts will help interpret your results, suggest appropriate next steps, and can provide referrals if needed.

Your results are delivered in a web-based interactive report, which is pre-drafted with the assistance of AI and validated by physicians.

For incidental findings, we use the ONCO-RADS classification (1-5). ONCO-RADS, or the Oncologically Relevant Findings Reporting and Data System, is a standardized classification system used in whole-body MRI for cancer screening. It categorizes findings based on the likelihood of malignancy, ranging from normal to highly likely malignant. Typically, RADS 3 findings (likely benign) may warrant an imaging follow-up in 6-12 months, while RADS 4-5 findings (suspicious or likely malignant) will lead to a referral to partner specialists.

After you receive your Ahead report, you can schedule a follow-up consultation (usually a video call) with one of our medical experts to discuss the findings in detail. This consultation is included in the package price and does not involve an additional fee.

Question 3

What does the report include and in which language is it provided?

Accepted Answer

Your results will be provided in English or German and delivered as an interactive digital report, typically within 5-7 business days after your scan. Due to longer processing times for Omega 3 & 6, it may take a few days longer.

A sample report can be made available upon request.

The report contains a detailed analysis of over 150 biomarkers derived from your imaging (MRI) and blood tests. It is pre-drafted with the assistance of AI and then validated by our medical experts.

You'll also gain access to a personal dashboard that retains your imaging and lab results, allowing for trend graphs and in the future the ability to upload external scans or wearable data, which our system can auto-ingest.

Question 4

How do I get my raw DICOM (imaging) files?

Accepted Answer

You can request your raw DICOM imaging files. We provide a secure download link for these files, typically within 24 hours of your request, at no extra cost.

Question 5

Do you offer specialist referrals if something is found?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your radiologist's report will include an ONCO-RADS classification for any relevant findings, along with a suggested follow-up pathway.

Our team can assist in booking necessary follow-up imaging or consultations with specialists within our partner network (e.g., Hirslanden) directly if needed, particularly for RADS 4-5 findings.

Question 6

Will I get to discuss my results with a doctor?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. After you receive your detailed report, you will have the opportunity to schedule a consultation with one of Ahead Health's medical experts.

During this consultation, which is included in the package price, you can discuss your results, ask any questions you may have, and go over any potential findings in more detail.

This follow-up is often conducted via video call for your convenience and typically lasts about 20 minutes.

Question 7

What if I have trouble opening or exporting my report?

Accepted Answer

Your Ahead report is a web-based interactive report, so you'll need an internet connection and a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge) to view it.

If you're having trouble:

Make sure you're using the latest version of your browser
Try opening the link in a different browser or on a different device
Check that your email link hasn't expired — if it has, request a new one

If you need a PDF export for your GP or specialist, you can generate one directly from the report. If you're still having issues, contact our team or email get@aheadhealth.com and we'll help you access your results.

Question 8

How long until I get my blood test results?

Accepted Answer

Blood test results are typically available within 5–7 business days after your blood draw. You'll receive a notification when your interactive report is ready in the Ahead portal.

If you booked a combined check-up (MRI + blood), both sets of results are delivered together in a single report. If you booked the Omega-3 & 6 add-on, the analysis may take longer, so your combined report may take up to 10 business days.

Once your results are ready, you can schedule a follow-up consultation with one of our physicians to discuss them in detail. This consultation is included in the price of check-up packages. See our sample report to get an idea of what to expect.

Question 9

What does a sample report look like? Can I see one?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can request a free sample report to see what you'll receive after your check-up. The sample report shows how your results are presented in our interactive online portal, the level of detail in the MRI findings (with annotated images), how blood biomarkers are displayed with reference ranges and trend tracking, and the structure of the physician's summary and action plan.

The report is web-based (not a PDF), designed to be easy to understand even without a medical background. Every finding includes a clear explanation of what it means and what to do about it.

Question 10

Can I ask follow-up questions about my results through the portal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After receiving your report, you can schedule a follow-up consultation (usually a video call) with one of our physicians to discuss your results in detail. This consultation is included in check-up packages at no additional fee.

For standalone Advanced blood test bookings, a follow-up consultation is not included by default but can be arranged separately.

During the consultation, you can ask about any findings, get clarification on biomarker values, discuss next steps, and receive guidance on lifestyle changes or specialist referrals.

Question 11

Can you give me a medical prescription based on my results?

Accepted Answer

No. Ahead Health is a preventive screening service, not a treatment provider. We do not prescribe medications, therapies, or treatments.

What we do provide:

A detailed analysis of your MRI and blood test results, reviewed by a physician
A personal action plan with recommendations for follow-up or lifestyle adjustments
A follow-up consultation to discuss your findings and answer questions
Specialist referrals if our screening reveals findings that require further investigation

If your results indicate a condition that needs treatment, our physicians will recommend appropriate next steps and can refer you to a specialist or your GP, who can then issue prescriptions as needed.

Question 12

Will you recommend specific supplements or next steps based on my results?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your report includes personalized recommendations based on your specific results.

For blood biomarkers, your report highlights values outside the optimal range and provides clear, actionable guidance. For MRI findings, your report explains what was found, its clinical significance, and recommended next steps, from "monitor in 12 months" to "consult a specialist."

During your follow-up consultation, our physician can discuss specific supplement recommendations, lifestyle changes, and whether specialist referrals are appropriate.

Important: we provide evidence-based recommendations, not prescriptions. We won't recommend specific supplement brands, and any supplement suggestion is based on your blood work, not general wellness claims. If treatment is needed, we'll refer you to the appropriate specialist.
